Registering for Spring 2010 Classes
All incoming students are required to attend a new student advising and registration session. During this session, in addition to meeting with an academic advisor and registering for classes, we will go over the health insurance waiver, parking information, and also give you the immunization form that must be completed before enrolling at UConn.
We have scheduled registration sessions on the following dates:
Thursday, December 3rd from 12 -- 3 pm
Wednesday, December 9th from 12 -- 3 pm
Please contact Kelly Nemeth at 203-236-9871 or at Kelly.Nemeth@uconn.edu to reserve a space for one of the registration sessions. Transfer students should wait to schedule a session until they have received an official transfer credit evaluation. [PLEASE NOTE: Space is limited for each of the two dates].
Please contact Kelly Nemeth if you are unable to attend either advising and registration session.
Before attending your Advising/Registration date, please review the Spring 2010 Schedule of Classes. This will help familiarize you with the courses offered at the Waterbury Campus. You will have a group session with an adviser during your Advising/Registration date to assist you with course selection. We strongly encourage you to become familiar with the course offerings and create a preliminary schedule of classes.
Please be sure that you have reviewed the University Math/English Placement policy. If you are required to complete the Math Calculus Survey please do so at least one week prior to your session. If you have not reviewed the placement information you are not ready to attend a registration session.
PLEASE NOTE: Be sure that you know your PeopleSoft number (your student ID number) when you arrive for your scheduled session. This information will be needed to register for classes. It was included with your acceptance letter.
PARENTS, PLEASE NOTE:
Registration is for students only. Please do not accompany your son or daughter to their advising session.
If you have questions about registration, please contact Kelly Nemeth at 203-236-9871.
