The Osher Lifelong Learning InstituteThe Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at the University of Connecticut is an academic cooperative that provides mature adults 50 and over with opportunities for intellectual development, cultural stimulation and social interaction. Our programs are centered around classes developed and taught by members who volunteer their time and talents to share their knowledge and interests with other members. The OLLI program also sponsors special events featuring noted authors, scholars and experts in respected professional fields.
“OLLI Member Quotables”: The actual process of 'dipping my toe' into this previously untried stream has been remarkably rewarding! I have not had any college education and the OLLI program really helps me to continue learning - as I am closing in on 80. Class offerings are excellent! You can feel the enthusiasm of the students and presenters. This is a great opportunity for older people, especially retirees. I had no idea it would keep me so busy! But fun!
