Waterbury Awards Ceremony, April 17, 2015
David Loturco and Kimberly Valerio were awarded Psychology Honors at the Waterbury Awards Ceremony, as well as commemorative Stroop t-shirts.
Evan Burke awarded a Spring 2015 Undergraduate Research Grant for $1350 for his research project examining the factor structure of a newly developed assessment instrument in a diverse national sample. Evan is a member of Dr. Treadwell’s research lab.
Yayla Lopez (pictured second from right) awarded a Spring 2015 Undergraduate Research Grant for her research project examining infant cognitive functioning. Yayla has been a research team member with Dr. Cuevas for 2 semesters.
Sherry Husain awarded New England Scholar Award.
Sherry Husain received the award at the Scholars Day Ceremony held at the Jorgensen Auditorium at Storrs on March 24, 2015.
Waterbury Psychology Undergraduates present at 2015 Eastern Psychological Association
Six undergraduate Waterbury psychology majors presented research findings at the regional conference March 6-8, 2015 held in Philadelphia, PA. They represented each of the three research labs at the Waterbury campus, under the direction of Drs. Astur, Cuevas and Treadwell.
