University of Connecticut University of UC Title Fallback Connecticut

Scholarships: New Students

THE DEADLINE FOR THE NEW STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO MARCH 10, 2017.

The Waterbury Campus will also be offering numerous scholarships for the 2017-2018 academic year.  The scholarship system is all online.  Three important points:

  1. Students can only access the scholarship if they have applied for admission to UConn-Waterbury.  You do not need to have been admitted, but you will have to submitted your application for the Waterbury Campus, not Storrs.
  2. Students need a netID and password to apply, which will be sent after applying to the University.
  3. We also ask for a recommendation.  Those can be mailed to the Scholarship Committee (see below) since most high schools will not give a student a letter of recommendation.  However, in order for the online system to accept applications students will need to download a very basic note, in the recommendation request section, stating a recommendation will be mailed to the campus.

The campus address is:

Dr. Stuart Brown
Scholarship Commitee
University of Connecticut at Waterbury
99 East Main Street
Waterbury, CT 06702

It is the responsibility of the applicant to make sure the application and recommendation form is received (not postmarked) by Friday, March 10, 2017.
