UConn Waterbury’s urban location provides opportunities for both the public and campus community to enjoy the newly revitalized downtown area that has a rich mix of historic architecture with a classic New England charm. The heart of the downtown area has transformed into a vibrant center for shopping, dining, and entertainment. Or take a few minutes to slow down and enjoy 'Synergy,' a water sculpture that serves as the centerpiece of our courtyard. Students, faculty, and staff worked closely with nationally-known artist Barton Rubenstein on the design.
