Dr. Martin S. DeSomma Scholarship
- Connecticut high school senior
- Entering UConn Waterbury full-time for fall 2025 semester
- Committed to continuing full-time for spring 2026
- Award based on financial need, character, and achievement
- Letter of recommendation from high school teacher
Katherine Hill Pomeroy Scholarship
- Connecticut high school senior
- Entering UConn Waterbury full-time for fall 2025 semester
- Committed to continuing full-time for spring 2026
- Award based on financial need, character, and achievement
- Letter of recommendation from high school teacher
Rose Finkelstein Scholarship
- High school senior at a Waterbury public school
Students from Kaynor Tech, Waterbury Career Academy, and Waterbury Magnet School must be Waterbury residents. - Entering UConn Waterbury full-time for fall 2025 semester
- Committed to continuing full-time for spring 2026
- Award based on financial need, character, and achievement
- Letter of recommendation from high school teacher

Aburdene Family Scholarship

- UConn Waterbury undergraduate student
- Enrolled at least half-time for fall 2025 with plans to continue full-time for spring 2026
- Award based on financial need, academic achievement, and community involvement
- Priority to first-generation students
Aburdene Family Scholarship
Honoring Phillip Benevento
- UConn Waterbury undergraduate student
- Enrolled at least half-time for fall 2025 with plans to continue full-time for spring 2026
- Award based on financial need, academic achievement, and community involvement
- Priority to students taking coursework in the humanities or social sciences
Alphonse and Ruth Ann Avitabile & Dr. Martin DeSomma Scholarship
- UConn Waterbury first-year student
- Continuing full-time at UConn Waterbury for fall 2025 and spring 2026
- Award based on academic achievement and financial need
DeSomma-Bessette Scholarship
- UConn Waterbury undergraduate student
- Enrolled at least half-time for fall 2025 with plans to continue full-time for spring 2026
- Award based on financial need
Dougan Family Scholarship
- UConn Waterbury undergraduate student
- Enrolled full-time or part-time at UConn Waterbury for fall 2025 and spring 2026
- Award will be given to a student who has made an impactful contribution to the UConn Waterbury Campus community
Katherine Hill Pomeroy Scholarship
- UConn Waterbury student
- Enrolled full-time for fall 2025 with plans to continue full-time for spring 2026
- Must have completed a minimum of 12 credits at UConn Waterbury
- Award based on financial need, academic achievement, and community involvement
Leonard and Mildred Insogna & Alphonse Avitabile Scholarship
- UConn Waterbury undergraduate student
- Enrolled full-time for fall 2025 with plans to continue full-time for spring 2026
- Award based on academic achievement
Martin Luther King, Jr. Scholarship
- UConn Waterbury undergraduate student
- Enrolled full-time for fall 2025 with plans to continue full-time for spring 2026
- Award recognizes a student who demonstrates a strong commitment to fostering a sense of belonging and actively contributes to the campus and broader community
UConn Waterbury Scholarship
- UConn Waterbury student
- Must have completed a minimum of 36 credits at UConn Waterbury
- Continuing at UConn for the following academic year
- Award is based on academic achievement, financial need, and extracurricular activities (related to school, church, and community service) (Award made on competitive basis, so student need not be strong in all three categories to apply.)
UConn Waterbury Summer Scholarship
- UConn Waterbury undergraduate student
- Enrolled in a course for the 2025 summer session at UConn Waterbury
